Webinar: Study Opportunities In the USA
Studying in the USA is a dream for many young Vietnamese people. Despite its high education and living costs, this leading economy of the world attracts around a million international students every year. Vietnam now ranks sixth among all sending countries with almost 30,000 students studying at US institutions, mostly at colleges and universities, but also at boarding and day schools.
What are the study options for Vietnamese students in the USA? What are the living costs? How can students finance their studies? What opportunities and challenges would you have as an international student in the USA? How does the education system in the USA work? These and other questions will be answered in our upcoming webinar with Son, a Vietnamese/Czech citizen who has completed his Bachelor’s degree at one of the Ivy League Schools. In his talk, he is going to focus on the liberal arts institutions, which he has lots of experience with.
Tuan Son Tran is a true global citizen. After having graduated from the United World College South East Asia in Singapore, he obtained a scholarship to pursue his Bachelor’s degree in International Relations at Brown University. Tuan is passionate about political economy and its impact on private sector and individual firms. He has professional and academic experiences in 8 countries on three different continents and speaks English, Czech, French, Vietnamese, and Korean.
