[HCX Event] How To Globalize Yourself In All Aspects of Life (2nd June in Ha Noi)
Both being global citizens, Thu Huong and Miguel’s love is also a global story. Once upon a time, a Vietnamese/Czech woman met a Mexican man at an Irish bar in Vancouver, Canada… Fast forward, their love has taken them to many places in North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. They are now building their cross-cultural family in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Every aspect of their life is international. At home, they use Spanish and English, Miguel is learning Vietnamese, and they watch movies in French. They cook international dishes (they actually invent them), having at least 30 different kinds of spices in their kitchen. They collect arts and decorative pieces from their journeys, so their home looks like a global museum. They have friends from all over the world, they celebrate holidays of various countries, and visiting families for them means traveling to 3 different continents. Does their story inspire you to live a life “without borders”?
During their stay in Hanoi, these two “United-Nations ambassadors” are going to share with us their tips and advice on how to internationalize/globalize our life as well as how to make long-lasting cross-cultural relationships, broaden your network, build skills for a cross-border career, nurture a multifaceted global mindset, and how to “feel at home” in different places around the world.
